i have totally fallen in love with this car... it is so much fun to drive! has plenty of pep for being such a small engine, and the gas mileage is very good too.

handling was good even before i installed my tein s-techs. i know for sure after adding some aftermarket struts/shocks and a rear sway bar, the handling should be damn good!

i highly recommend you get the 05 while its still available, because it the general concensus among everyone is that the 06 looks a lot more plain and not nearly as eye catching.

i have had no problems, even though i only have ~5,000miles racked up so far, and honestly for driving around campus as a daily driver i wouldnt want anything else!

The xA is an awesome ride for the price!

My other car is a heavily modified S2000, but I love driving the xA too.

All I've done to the xA is add a custom pipe, and it sounds really mean.

I've got almost 20,000 miles on it, with no problems whatsoever.

GREAT car

Great MPG
Great Pick Up
Great look, at least the '05 and earlier
Great price
Great Stock Radio
Great Trunk Space (for such a small car)

Not so great rear leg room (not as great as the xB)
Not so great dash (too much 'sloop' for my taste)
Not so great height (BEGS to be dropped)
Not so great headroom (xB has much more)

But that is not much to complain about, really. So get one.

Drive happy.

The minute I saw a picture of it on a billboard....I was hooked. I went to test drive one a month later, and bought it the same day. I love it.

i love how safe it is in any weather condition..

with the RS1 i got all the road control goodies like traction, stability, abs... its freaking safer than my 4x4 taco in the snow!

...which reminds me- i need to get a tire solution for winter driving! im sure these low profile tires are less than adequate in a snow/ice emergency

I absolutly love my xA. I couldn't have made a better choice. It has all the features I wanted, plenty of room, and a nice cozy feel to it.

he he....don't take it personaly...I used to live in Winchester, VA...and I had my fill with SNOW.

Now, the only snow I want to see is on TV...or at the movies.

However, I did wonder how 'rubberband' width tires would do in the snow. I suspect, not so good.

My xA RS2.0 (manual) is more fun than should be allowed by law!

It's a total package:
stylish (especially w/wheels and lowering)
great MPG
proven Toyota platform
generous powertrain warranty
insanely affordable
roomy interior
highly customizable
etc., etc., etc.

It's mad fun here in the "Madcity" - especially between June and September when there's no snow in the air. That's right, the snowflakes have been know to appear anywhere from early October through late May.

Right now I'm in my glory - new xA and the best summer weather in 17 years!!! Now, to find some twisty roads and really enjoy my new TRD suspension...

yeah ive had mine for close to a year and a half and love it.

the price is right the look is awesome and responds very well to mods.

look at any other car under 15,000 and put rims, muffler system, bodykit, ect,,, and tell me it will look good. i dont think so.

I love my car, mainly because I modded it to the point where it's the ONLY xA that looks this way, and like my sig says "I feel like a million bucks"

I have had my xA for going on 5 months... I haven't driven a car that handles this good in the 30 years I have been driving...And this is just with 17" wheels... The good points have been discussed, some not so good ones have been brought up, the only other one to mention is the slightly weak ac...It will cool you down on a real hot day, but not like a $30,000 Lexus... But if you wanted a $30,000 Lexus, I'd say get a tC....

Good luck, but hurry, so you can get an '05...

I've had my xA for three months now and I love it!

Mileage is great, 37-39 MPG each week.
I got the Hotchkiss front strut tie bar and alloy wheels with the Potenza tires and it corners great with NO sound effects at all.
Great price and doesn't feel cheap.
I hardly see any xAs in Albuquerque, let alone one like mine - it's UNIQUE!

I could go on but everything else has already been said by others.
