Depends on what you want to do...
Debadge, clear headlights, both of which are free.

I would like to remove the scion emblem from the back and put a batman logo badge back there, what is a good badge site?

if the mods have to be cheap ones, i think you're better off not doing any mods. there's nothing wrong with a stock xa.

$40.00 From autozone for hood struts

You do mean like the struts that self lift the hood, like as in no more prop rod ?

If so do they fit an xB also & what would the part name or part # be so I can check out the local A to the Z. Thanks for any info !!!!!

codenhead - Run a search on SL member JINSU Great parts, Great prices, Great seller . Also try Randode.com also a SL member & all of the above. Need Vynil try DefconDesigns.com I have ordered from all of these guys they are all real good sellers !

Really cheap mods - I agree with Ashe's comments & also just keep an eye on both Classified sections of this site, something for everyone & every budget in there :D

Check my sig for a good hood strut kit from Redline Tuning... I couldn't find anybody that had xA hood strut specs that I could just pick up at Autozone... everybody has xB specs... and once you mount the strut-it's yours. You can't return it. So if you buy a strut for the xB and put it on the xA-if it doesn't work, you're out $40+... I'd rather spend the $60 and know I have a kit that has been designed for my car...

You can change your oven light to another color, de-badge your rear emblem (not the scion one), change your antenna to a stubby one or change your interior dome light color...

or try these threads.... found in the tech section:

Once you get a feel for the site and see some other members cars, you'll get ideas like crazy... There's about a million places to put LED's... I'm becoming an LED-aholic...

YES! I forgot about that one...

I picked up a pair of fog lights from Walmart for $20. They fit right into the stock holes... I actually bought 2 different sets:

1st set I had to drill small hole on either side to attach the light.
2nd set I just reversed the brackets so that the screws faces out and "pinched" them into the stock housing so that the screws poked through the hole in the back...

It's easier to see and I didn't take any pictures... sorry...

but yeah, you can pick up nice looking fogs for $20... people mistake them for the $350 OEM fogs...

You could do the illuminated cup holders and storage box for under $10. It's cheap, easy to do, and fun results.

Seriously when considering mods, cheap isn't the best option, its whether you really want it ;)
