Why do people park in their driveway and drive on the parkway?

when i was but a mere lad, in the middle of the night my friends and i used to pile into my 1987 Accord hatchback and go to a KMart that stood at the edge of a cliff. we'd line up a cart on the front bumper of that wedge-shaped honda and gradually accelerate across the parking lot until we (and by extension, the cart) were doing about 70mph towards the guard rail at the edge of the cliff. i'd jam my brakes, the cart would hit the low curb just before the guard rail, hop it, and tumble hundreds of feet down the side of the mountain.

terribly immature, but very entertaining.

I actually got lucky with a cart situation once. I was taking some stuff we had bought in the mall to ut them in the car and head back in. As I was walking out, there was a cart barreling towards the car, at least 10-15 miles per gallon. I was able to run up to it and stop it about 2 inches away from the car door, jammed my finger but i was worth it.

My newest mod: I have installed an anti-acorn invisible force field to my xA. At full power, with my stereo off, it will stop up to golf-ball sized acorns.

I will install an invisible force field on all of your xA's, for only $199 each, special scion-life discount. There is no money back guarantee.

LOL

Lol! I did. Kinda of embarrassed. Didn't really know what to say in return

Btw, I will take one of those force fields. Only large acorns.. I need it to protect against houses!

Just paypal me the $199 and I'll send you(free shipping) a box containing the invisible force field generator AND an invisible key fob actuator(so that no one even knows you have it).

All you have to do is open the box and then turn it upside down, it installs itself. Gotta love invisible technology.

Remember, there is NO money back guarantee if it fails... although if it does, it's only because you lost the invisible remote actuator.

LOL

dd, I don't think you can really turn your xA into a nut shaker...

I'd just get 2 skinny squirrels and take them to work.

You'd think they'd take more care where their nuts ended up.

Sooo true living here in South Florida. Falling from a 30 foot tall tree the dents are twice the size of a coconut.

Word of warning- if you spend too much time on ScionLife you start posting random stuff that doesn't make any sense. Like how many miles per gallon the wind gets.

if you park near power lines, birds will poop on your car. if you park on the street, it will get hit, and broken into. if you park your car near the party, drunk people will do inappropriate stuff to it. if you park somewhere near where alot of people will pull in and out of, it will get hit. if you park illegally, you will get ticketed...or towed...if you get towed to an impound yard...lots of bad stuff can happen.

Oh but it makes perfect sense. If I drive my Expedition downwind around here, I can get 13mpg vs the 11mpg I typically get. So the that's a 2mpg wind.

Now if I could just find one of those 20mpg winds you guys were talking about, I could drive for free (though turning may be an issue).
