Wrecked my xA - Awesome Safety Features!
#21
Wow! Very interesting. Will feel even safer driving it now. THAT WILL NOT MAKE ME OVER CONFIDENT THOUGH. lol. Supposed to get the xA back today. Was told they were painting it Monday. Just put in the paint bay today! Oh well. Getting used to paying $20 daily on gas in the SUV. Btw, highway dept. fixed road last week. Guess it was time after 3 accidents in the same location, all 3 hitting the same house.

Finally... get those tax money to work huh. my eyes went big when I saw that fit crash and fly at the same time lol. Well glad that xA will be back in action. And be careful on that road still,,, even though they said they fixed it. Glad your xA's back have fun.

Well.... got it back yesterday. Can't say that I am overly satisfied with the job. For $7,000 they could have at least gotten all of the dings out. They also didn't replace one of the 3 clips in the back that holds the upholstery to the ceiling. I think its going back.. lol. I have a question that is in my mind, and I am just itching to ask. The system is very important to me, and the stock system is one of the major reasons I purchased the car in the first place. Before the accident, I could listen at about 22 to 25 and it would blare. All speakers work, and fading is right as well as balance, and I have adjusted ASL and SSP, but I have to listen now at 55 to MAX to get the sound I want. Like I said, all speakers work, none sound warped or busted. Why is this? Is there any reprogramming? Any responses would be great!
Thanks,
Dustin

Check to make sure the SSP is set to the correct type of car AND check to make sure the SSP is set to the mode you want (see-hear-feel)... (see your radio manual)

Yours may have been set to "xB" and "Feel" before, which gives higher volumes, and it may be on something else now.
If none of that fiddling around gets it back to normal, there may be some damage to wiring, but unlikely.
