Default Xa = tough car

Well, i live in Carrollton Tx ( suburb of dallas ) and today, it was snowing and sleeting like a mother f@&%er. Going down a hill ( that had a slight turn angle) i lost control of my vehicle. I started weaving like crazy, and i literally "drifted" in and out of traffic to avoid hitting any other car around me. Luckily i didn't, but i did at the end spin out in front of traffic , hop a curb and then my rear bumper smashed into the side of a bridge wall.

FORTUNETLY, no one was hurt.

My xa suffered minor damage, hub caps ____ed, n the black rim under the hubcaps got all scratched >.<

as for the part that smashed into the wall. No dents, just a "paint" mark where the wall n my bumper met. Maybe i can get that off, no clue yet, it was about 6:45AM when it happend so i couldn't see much.

i'll post up pics later

I drifted my xA around a 300zx in the mall parking lot the other morning, nice, slow e-brake drift, laughing the whole time, watching too much F&F Tokyo Drift, lol.

It handled like a champ last year and I had bald highway tires on it.

I am unfortunately not as fortunate as you to have a suv in my household. The highest clearance vehicle is my xA with stock springs on lol.

My wife hit a wall when she meant to go in reverse when she was first learning stick. She called and was freaking out.

When I looked at it, the wall took more damage than my car, lol. Only a couple dot scratches.

xA is the next bullet proof car!

Mine isn't so bulletproof. I had some punk kid kick in the rear drivers side door when I lived out in NY... But I am pretty lucky and happy with the D I just haven't been driving it a lot lately because of gas prices.

Yeah it was a pretty nasty dent I had to remove the door panel and snake my arm through the inside of the dorr to push it out to make it look a little better it was about the size of a basketball. now its the size of a baseball in 2 spots and if you look carefully you can see where they were leaning on the drivers side door around the handle. All because they were leaning on my truck and were told to get off and decided to lean on my car and were told again.

I would like to get it fixed but I have a $500 deductible that I don't feel like coughing up right now and couldn't afford if I did...

Oh and hopefully I'll be adding 2" to my clearance on the "D" soon here with a torsion bar lift up front and shackles in the rear. It'll cost me about $50 and two hours of sweat. Then a Flowmaster super 40 for hopefully 20 more horsies.
