As you can see im new to this site, im in the market for a used xA. My mom has a an 06 so im familiar with them. Being I live on Long Island its hard to find one with low miles in good shape, most cars up here in the NY/NJ/CT are overpriced with high miles being sold by shady dealers. I came across an 06 black, auto, alloys, from a VW dealer in Jersey with only 28k miles with a clean carfax one owner for 9700. This is the best deal by far I can find on an 06 with low miles. I have seen some priced more with 80-100,000 miles. Does this seem like a decent deal? I have put down a deposit over the phone and am heading over there this week. Any advice would be welcome, thanks..

after owning one of the first 06s in florida since new, I would not do it. buy an 05 with a manual tranny. the 05 has more options for body kits. inside they are just about the same. you'd probably be happier with a new yaris, but that is just my opinion.

 

funny you say that, an 05 with manual just came up for sale in my town, heading over to look at it tonight.. That other deal fell through anyway, the dealer was playing games..

 

Ive had both and was happy with both. I did notice the the body kit thing but that seemed to only be with the JDM kits.
