That is so weird! I thought it was just me. It never happened in any other car I drove. I get shocked everytime I drive it. Might have to try the bounce sheets though. It's worth a try.

yeah, i get shocked...A LOT! i thought it might have had something to do w/the wiring i did for my blacklights...but i figured that was pretty unlikely, this is interesting to hear...

I too get shocked a lot and my pointer finger was numb for 15 min one time, it happened in my accord too! It does seem to be worse in the XA so I keep a can of static guard in the glove box just in case!

Same thing happens to me all the time when I wear any shoes that aren't boots. I may have to try to touch the top of the roof before I get out, that seems like it would work.

its not just the xA...its also the xB. i get shocked every other time i think...hehe...even after 7 months with my car sometimes im still hesitant to touch it....

I had that in my xA only in the first few months...its gone without any reason.
try to close the door from the plastic trim

its dry as a ***** here in AZ. and when your Dickies pants slide across the seat fabric, you can feel the static building up. To avoid the shock, i hold onto the metal door latch striker as I get out. Then can close the door without getting lit up.
