Default Track

Whats up;

Raceway Park Englishtown, NJ. Hey Dixon just ran 345 in TF at E-town. The track has plenty of bite since the first half is concrete and plenty of VHT. Englishtown is one of the top 5 tracks in the country.

Someone needs to ppst on this at least once a week until the beginning of next year when this kit comes out.

Why?

So it doesn't get deleted because of inactivity.

There's also one area there some of us know about that has to do w/ the rods, and its not just because they are skinny.

True the wall thickness around the cylinders are thin, and sleeving it may or may not help, but I guess I'll just have to sit back and wait to see this stroker kit.

And yes the fuel delivery system will need upgrading also.

a regrind would be feasible. a piggy back would not.

Default 2.0 rotating assembly

Tweeterxb;

I called my engine guy yesterday he doesn't remember which company is puting out the rotating assembly kit. He did tell me you will have your choice of comp ratio on the pistons and you can upgrade to a ti rod instead of a forged rod.

I asked him if I should go with the ti rod, he said since I have nitrous and a s/c already I don't need it.. Yes the motor would rev quicker but since the x/b is not a high rev motor it's kind of a waste of money, it also depends on your setup. Is this a full out race car or a street& strip or a daily driver and drag strip a few times a year.

My guy spoke to scion and they said the stock fuel pump is set at 45psi but can go to 60 psi looks like Iam going to a fmu and a bigger fuel pump and injectors or both for the 150 shot of nitrous and the stroker kit.

the fuel pump has a regulator in tank.
many of the turbo people have had a hard time solving this.

just some heads up.

even after converting to a return line setup they had problems building pressure.

I really don't know anything about what I posted. I had to call Stuart, Vito, and Dave and ask them what I should post.

Fuel pressure will be limited to 50 psi and thats even while converting over to a return line setup, piggy back ECU(wich has nothing to do really with fuel pressure but you mentioned it so I will to), pump, injectors, larger bore fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator...I dont know what the "Scion" guy was talking about...if you would like to talk about this any further please feel free to PM me.

I ended up getting up to 55psi with an upgraded pump and converted system. I used a screwdriver in the factory regulator and just bent some stuff..... It was an experiment and it worked...

However, the turbo is sold and another ITEM is on its way from JAPAN...

I forgot to mention the ol' pry out the regulator trick lol
Even if he gets it up to 60 psi its not gonna do much for him anyway
