I would be very careful with what your "experienced mechanic" suggests. I work at a Toyota dealership and my son is a Toyota and Lexus Certified Technician at a different dealership. He's also an ASE certified Master Technician. When I showed him what you did with the Kerosene, he said "That's a great way to trash a perfectly good engine and wipe out a catalytic converter." @2stroked Hi. How are you today? I have to ask you other question. I got a failing code P 0010. I just replaced the VVT on Thursday!!! I was looking for a Brocken wires. All looks in great conditions. Please let me know your opinion in this matter.
