So A/C stopped blowing cold air. Turns out A/C compressor was bad. I replaced it. Tried to fill with Freon and it only took about 1/4 of can. Did more research and said to replace expansion (?) Valve. So I did and replaced both Low pressure lines. Vac the system, holds pressure no leaks.
Added almost a full can, still no cold air and pressure gauge was almost in red. When checking the air with car running I noticed the radiator fan never kicked on. Checked fuses all good. Replaced thermostat and flushed the system. Fan still not working and still no cold air.

Can someone ease give me any useful information? I've spent the 4th of July busting my knuckles and aggravated.

Does only 1 fan work or are both fans not working? I’m having a similar problem but 1 fan is working.

 

The A/C fan works and I'm finally getting cold air. Apparently I just didn't put enough Freon into the system.

The coolant fan is another issue. All the relays are good. I checked wiring harness to coolant fan with multi-meter and didn't get a reading.
I'm thinking it's the temp sensor. It's only $24 so I'm gonna replace that to see if that fixes the issue. I'll keep ya posted

Does the xB have a condenser AND radiator fan? The xA only has a single fan.

Is there no fan turning on when the A/C is on and working?
