They should help with mileage, but it's a little tougher to keep that right foot calm with the newly added power.

the intake and exhaust willincrease the mpg as long as you dont step on it. They both increase horsepower and torque (the exauist isnt purely cosmetic, look at dyno graphs for proof). Since the engine will be more powerfull it will not have to work as hard to move the car, thus the increase in mpg, again, as long as your right foot is controlled

what dyno graphs have you seen? can you show me? i know ive seen the ones in publications showing that it didnt even make 1hp or 1 ft lb tq on the xb from the DC exhaust and its widely know that AXLE BACKS do nothing for this particular engine aside from change the tone...not saying ALL engines just ours a full cat back or headerback would probably show some slight gains with the proper piping math
