does anyone know if there is an alternator from annother car that will work on the xb I ask this because I know a guy that rewinds alternators and I don't want to use my original 1 or if anyone that was swap out for an highout put alternator and has the oem one and wants sell please pm I would prefer in chicago or close.

 

I would suggest the junkyards. or you might be able to do a echo alternator. I did a parts number search on aftermarket alternators, Bosch uses the same # alternator from 2000-2005. SO my guess is that you might be able to use one from the scrapyard as a donor. BTW let me know how much it runs you and if the guy is willing to ship a rewound alternator to washington DC. The guys around here want 5-6 bills for it.
