Default Anyone else have this problem?

I've had a Strup v2 exhaust for a few years (junk) and for pretty much the entire time I've had it the perforated steel tube inside the muffler has been detached and just kind of sitting there below the exit, rattling around and most likely blocking the flow of the exhaust. I finally had it "fixed" at the dealer during regular maintenance, but whatever they did (probably nothing) didn't work and now that tube is once again rattling around inside the muffler. Is there a way to reattach this tube? Apparently it was held on by some crappy welds, so could a muffler shop just tack it back into place? Am I better off just buying a new axle-back of another brand?
