Anyone have any luck with the Injen knockoffs sold on eBay?

I've looked at the pictures of the eBay intake and I read the thread reviewing the ScionSport FX1 intake. It seems like the $49.99 intake is *exactly* the same thing. Here's the link for the $49 intake:

I'm not worried about the quality of the filter, because I'd definitely replace the filter with a genuine K&N cone filter, but aluminum is aluminum, right? Has anyone had any major fitment issues?
BTW, I did mod my stock airbox slightly by getting rid of the white gauze charcoal filter and that alone made the engine breathe much, much better. Logically (and cost efficiently), I'm thinking I could squeeze out another drop of HP by putting in a CAI, especially if my total cost would be <$100 (49.99 + 18 (s&h) + 40 (K&N)).

the only problem you are usually going to encounter with cheapy ebay stuff is. Problems with the fit and finish (maybe), the HP numbers wont match the Injen in any way, and the quality of the materials you are going to be working with are CRAP!!! Fitting, mounts, screws and bolts are as well going to be cheap.
But hey it might work just fine, havent tried them i just went for the real thing.

think about it quality over cost... when in reality your probly going to end up hating it and go buy a real injen by then you would have spent money foolishly on a cheap knockoff..... do it right the first time
