Cold Air/Short Ram Intake Performance???
#21
thanks for all your input everybody. after all my reading/questioning i went with the INJEN RD2105P cold air intake. Yes, the long wrap around one in the pic Tercel95 posted.
I was so close to getting the INJEN IS2100 short ram, but i gotta good deal on the RD and read on the INJEN website, that the RD (racing division) provided more mid-range power.
I love it, the sound's awesome, and i feel the power all over. I'm driving a lot faster than i used to be. now i cruise the city-streets in 4th instead of 5th, and when i'm on the freeways i'm keeping up with traffic much easier and often find myself going 80 with a lighter amount of pressure on the pedal as before. on the way home from vegas today, i was following around a z350 and got up to 105mph. i would've never even tried that before putting in my INJEN. my previous top speed was 90mph.
i'd like to drive around a box with the INJEN/Fujita/YDR short ram intake to see if there's much of a difference.
