Are you racing?? If not, this is completely unnecessary. It will keep your transmission cooler, i can guarantee that.

If you have a manual trans, how were you planning to get the fluid to flow through the cooler?

I have one...not the pricey one just a basic get'r done type!
Easy to hook up used the plasic ties that goes throught the radiator but keep sayin I'm going to do a quick mount next time. I didn't install a gauge (like I was going to) so I can't give you before and after temps. Some times in heavy traffic during the summer the tranny was feeling a little hard shifting and it does not do that now but I also did a fluid and filter change at the same time so maybe that was it?

How much does it cost to have those things installed?

 

Get a small Hayden cooler for around 50 bucks or less. I plan on adding one this summer. Your trans can never be too cool. It also will prolong the life of the trans.
