Default Dual Charging?

Anyone think about dual charging your Scion?

Spy makes the turbo kit for it and Blitz makes the SC for it...

SC is supposed to increase power by up to 35% and turbo up to 50%

this would give your little car almost 215hp and would cover your low end and top end power.

Think it's possible with the amount of room given in the engine bay? It looks pretty tight in the front.

Yes it's possible.

Is it worth it? BIG MAYBE there.

Cost efficient? NO.

Will you have to totally rebuild your motor? yes

Will you probably blow something up? yes

Will you have to have a stand alone engine management? yes

Can someone tune it correctly? probably not

Would it be the dopest scion? YES

How much time and money would i have to spend? There isn't a number big enough.

haha... yes, it would be very expensive. I'd like to see it done to a car though just to know/see that it has been done.

Supercharging and turbocharging both work by cramming more oxygen into the cylinder on each stroke. There is an upper limit on how much you can cram in and not have the engine detonate. This limit is easily reachable by both turbochargers and superchargers. There is no point in combining both systems unless you just want to have something for folks to drool at at meets.

ya, but i'd give someone more props if they had that thing dual charged instead of dropping a motor in it.... unless it was a ferrari motor or something. the engine bay is tiny as hell, but theres still space around the engine. in my eclipse, you couldn't even slide your hand down anywhere around the motor. it was made for little asians to work on it or something.

Dual charged...LOL.

Let me know when one of you guys get that all nice and done with.

I'll be the first in line to congratulate you.

You might wanna try Turbo+Nitrous, or SC + Nitrous...but please, if you know about cars at all...c'mon what the heck is this talk about SC+Turbo...realistically..c'mon!

I've got some parts laying around. Should the s/c blow into the turbo or vice versa?
