Default Dual exhaust for Xb??

Has anyone installed dual exhaust on their Xb? If so what brand, and what was the cost? Also did you notice any increase in power? How does it sound? Thanks,

Mav

PS How did you get the rear bumper redone to match the factory cut out for tail pipe?

Theres actually quite a few people running dually's...Evildave is one of them if you wanna ask him about it...also Hotbox just finished his...most people tend to use the magnaflow mufflers but its up to you what to go with...just dont go with dual fart cans

I got the Borla kit, it looks great, sounds great, and cost a great deal of $
But I was able to install it myself.

PS I just cut a hole according to the template, It looks fine.

lots of ways to do it. if done correctly you dont lose torque. and the performance gain is the same as a regular exhaust except in most cases weighs more than normal single muffler systems.

WHO - Lots have installed duals. BRANDS/COST - that's all over the chart. Most every brand and one-off's been done - same with price, everywhere from high to low. POWER INCREASE - no. don't expect any either. it's for looks. SOUND - Sounds the same as a single aftermarket muffler. BUMPER REDO/"FACTORY" STYLE - That's only been done by one person so far, it requires hacking up a few different stock bumper skirts and welding them all together. Most simply just cut a half-cirlce out of the skirt peice and be done with it.

hey window tint. yer a good guy but there is a power increase if you do a cat back. if you just do a rear section largest gain is 2whp..... if you do a cat back it's like 5.

you can weld plastic. ask any bike owner. it's basically using a quick melt plastic and melting plastics together. you can use special irons to do it. very common amongst full fairinged motorcycle owners.

I second that. Plastic welding is very common, particularly among bike owners. It's a great way to save $ fixing your fairings (plastic body panels) rather than buying brand new ones.

here is a pic of my duels, It it all custom from a local shop. I have 2.5" pipe from the Cat back to the the back and a header, and can feel a noticable power diff.
