INCORRECT , let's just say you get pulled over , and the officer would like to look under the hood. If the officer has a good enough eye to catch the header and he sees something shiny he will know/ think it is not stock and will then proceed to ask for the carb cert. if no cert you get charged a huge fine AND have to see a state smog refferee , and THEN have to remove the header to get it to pass smog , after ALL that then you need to see a judge and state that the car is now legal to get the fine reduced from say 190 fixed to a 10.00 fix it.

When it says its a bolt-on replacement, is it REALLY bolt-on; like unbolt & pull factory unit and drop new header into place (with new gasket) and bolt it up....??

Also, have you seen any gas mileage improvments ?? Of course if it runs so much better, maybe your foot is into it that much more....HAHAHAHA...so gas mileage goes down...

It is in fact bolt on , takes about 45 minutes . theres 8 bolts holding the stock one in , remove them first , slide the stock exh manifold out , then reinstall old donut gasket , use the new header's gasket up top , reinstall the header top bolts first then bottom bolts to stock exhaust. doesnt take that long , you may want to remove the stock exh manifolds extra support piece that only the dc aftermarket header can use. save yourself that WHOLE 2 or 3 pounds. oh yeah LIGHTWEIGHT , lol I kid but hell why not you cant use it anyways.
