what about the corolla motor. from what i hear its easier to tune and you wont have to worry about honda numbers like i say

high horsepower
No torque
high rev limiter

corolla/mr2 motors are a dime a dozen

which corrola motor are you talking about? 1zz? it actually has damn good torque , moderate horsepower , not that high revving. easily get 7psi on stock internals. with trd s/c , header , full 2.25 exhaust , re-ground cams , and customized intake youd be making about 200whp and maybe 160tq.. better than a 2zz imo cuz 2zz's are liek honda's no torque and that sucks , no power till lift.but a 2zz is better for soemone who just wants a motor swap and be done with it , about 180hp and i beleiev like 140 or so tq. either way you'd have to use the 5spd(1zz) tranny over the 6spd tranny because of fitment issues.

the Celica GT-S motor i was refering to woth the high horse high rev no torque B4.
