Traction control is a function of the wheel speed sensors and vehicle input speed. It has nothing to do with what engine powers the car... as are many of the features. The powertrain control module is just that, for powertrain, abs and everything else is a seperate subsystem of the car. Unless all that is changed as well, it should all work as normal.

"Has a lot to do with the ECU that is controlling the motor, no?? How do you plan on running a 4e off a 1nz ECU??"
What I was saying is the ECU may change but the other functions of the car would remain the same IF they could interface with the new ECU. without more details on exactly what was done nobody will know, but traction control and all that is controled by various other modules and not the ECU itself. The ECU plays a part in pulling spark timing on some traction systems.
I would personally aim for a motor where most if not all of the sensory equipment on the current motor could be used on the new motor.

the biggest reason why it will be a kit is that all you have to do is buy an engine and the package from EL- no other parts should be needed- making it a custom engine swap kit
