Dont know why it would.. but im sure a dealership would try..so they can get payed vs. doing warranty work.

whenever you deface whatever stock is, its basically a void of warranty. especially with the engine. but it really all depends on what your dealer thinks.

it's not a deface of warranty. for it to void warranty whatever you modify has to be linked to whatever it is that breaks or messes up. . the modification must be the direct cause and they must prove that it is .

but i wouldn't run an open pcv system on anything except for a race car.

Just to let you know, most dealers get paid from what ever car company they are for fixing warranties. Toyota pays the dealer so it isn't in thier interest to void your warranty, it depends on how much of an A-hole the service techs want to be. It is the company itself that tries to void warranties, example mitubishi was trying to get lists of all EVO owners who were members of weekend race clubs like SCCA and was trying to void thier warranties. Just to let you all know, if your after market part tampers with the emition system and does NOT have a carb # there is a good shot it will void your warranty. I talked to the service tech at my dealer ship, he told me going as far as a DC sports header would void my warranty because the emission system is intact.
