What is the difference between the G-ready oil catch can, vs. this one:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=180338

Sounds like the vertical mount is the way to go. I'm not about spending unneeded $$ extra money on my car, if a $25 unit will do the same job a $85 unit will.

Please advise.

no real difference. The eBay ones are typically not as high a quality, but it should be fine. I used one and didn't have any problems with it. Of course, on my Rex I bought a Perrin can (much more expensive) and it was high quality and it installed a lot easier since it was made for my car.

The few people I contacted in person, basically said the units functionality isn't that significant overall. I'm still up in the air about it.... but still leaning towards NO.

I just picked up a CUSCO 9mm oil catch for 56 dollars shipped on ebay.

If anyone is interested....
