Matchbox was pushin around 140whp w/ a 5 speed and supercharger @ around 10 psi i think
I put down 123 whp on a turbo w/ an automatic @ only 5 psi(figure I lose about 10whp for the auto). I dont know what else anyone is running, but Im sure someone out there would spank our numbers.

funny thread.

I think Paul Natividad's xA _can_ push 214hp, but I think the boost is turned down for daily driving...to about 160hp? or something...

I thought he did the starlett swap in his car?? I know w/ his turbo setup he was running a standalone ECU unit. With the standalone, you are able to push far more power becuase you can perfect a/f ratios and not worry about leaning out. I ran my turbo w/ no problems for a while cause I figured out how to keep my fuel system balanced out.

the 1nzfe in my car blew up after about 3 months of 10 psi on the turbo. There are several motors that fit the car with a little work. I have way to much money and time into mine to just let out the secrets, but all I have to say is boosted 20 valve. Anyone that knows about toyotas will know what I am talking about. About a 2 month project but well worth it in the end. I might post some videos of the track when I get the new axles in. The stock ones broke the 2nd day I was driving the car. PM me if you are a serious person with a serious question. Leave the flaming to the board. Thanks

that magazine article was full of lies to up el's cred. when it was a 1nz it had 150whp at most. it was not bored over and it kept blowing motors.

he now has the elp 4efte swap in.....
