It's a fun hobby.... but fun hobbies tend to come with a price tag, but more importantly a learning experience.

If you ever have a change of heart, let me know. I'm also reviewing some contracts right now to expand my product line.

hey back from the dead kind of lol. i was able to go to the 1/8th mile drags in san diego with the box, and hitting the juice a lil late in the rev range and a helf empty bottle on a 35 shot got me a fastest pass of 10.60. so with a full bottle, my heater, and upgrading to a 40 shot i should be able to hit 9.90 or 10.00 easy. just an update on what 35 extra horses do lol, that fastest run was agianst a cobalt SS, he only won by a car length to, i was on his bumper at the end.

Very nice.

I Wonder how that would translate in the 1/4... I'm guessing low 15's high 14's?

Nitrous on the 1NZ-FE Motor: if running stock internals do not go past a 50 shot and make sure bottle pres. is no larger than 1000 psi. Run a wet kit. The stock rods in that motor are no larger than your thumb. I've snaped two rods and spun 2 pistons 90 deg. in the motor on a 60 shot w/ 1250 spi bottle pres. Trial and errror. Keep your expectations realistic. That motor is not strong so unless you coin to spend use a NX wet kit w/ a 50 shot. at 1000 psi bottle pres. Should you need further assistance contact Randal at Nitrous Express.

whywould you try it twice if it blew a motor once already, or were those rods and pistons in one motor? i have yet to hear of notrous putting a rod out, i always just here it melting the pistons, but its possible either way i guess.

We had a local guy do a 75 shot direct port on his envy green xB. No problems.... although I wouldn't recommend that high on a 1.5L

you can go really high, as long as you can dump in more fuel than it needs, im sure this motor could handl ea 100 shot, but youd have to run a very large fuel jet to keep it extremely rich, and it may not hold it long. im thinking xbgod is someone who just made a new account to post something anonymously or something, and that seems like a shameless sponsor plug to me, if itll hold boost itll hold nitrous, ya its not a honda mototr, but its not a super weak either, anywho, i cant wait to go up to a 40 shot, which it will hold just fine. 1250 psi is very very high, most burst disks are only 1300psi, and my bottle heater wont allow the pressure to go over 1050 psi.

you guys are all kinds of ate-up. I think this must be the picture forum. I'll grab the rods and pistons from the shop and post them for all you to see. And no that was not some plug for Nx. Randal at Nx has R&d a kit for that car and knows quite a bit about it. Yeah you can dump more fuel, that is untill you run out off enough pressure from your stock pump. Belive me if you have seen the inside of that 1.5L motor you'd think twice before pushing it to the max. Rods the size of my thumb made out of a cast forging not very smart. So yeah go ahead and hit a 100 shot on those stock rods, let me know how that works out for you.

I guess I could plug my supplier nytrex since he fabricated these kits for scions too. My kits are also a lower price and the solenoids have a lifetime warranty.

I never asked for pics. I do have an appreciation for those who start low and move their way up instead of going too big from the start.

Yes I've meet the owner of Nytrex good guy. Nice kits I've just known the guys over at NX longer. But lets face only so many ways to skin a cat.

That would be the funk, I was considering a direct port 40 set up.. but costs are just out of range.. Is that the xB that has the bottles mounted up in the corners of the roof, in the rear (two of them)? If so.. I am really impressed with that set up

naah we are cool it is just we have been the victim of many false information posts and we also know how hard it is to get these econo boxes to run fast....although I do have a buddy who owns a race team (nascar, craftsman series etc..) that say these motors can do 400hp plus with the right applications incl a trd block
