Hose of Charcoal Canister..
Hi guys!
I have a pretty stupid question, maybe already asked by others but I couldn't find anything.
I am replacing the charcoal canister of my Scion xA due to several emission codes related to a TSB. One of the rubber-like hose needs to be plugged to a metal pipe (the one with the yellow stripe, see http://images.oreillyauto.com/parts/...19_primary.jpg).
However, I am not able to push the hose entirely (I think the hose needs to reach the ring of the pipe). I attached a picture of the hose plugged so far. After a few hours, a new Code appeared, P0441 (the only one so far) which is likely due to this issue.
Do you have a tip for plugging the hose entirely? Do you think the code appeared because of this?
Thanks!
Vianney
