How do I replace my Scion xA car's solenoid?
How do I replace my Scion xA car's solenoid? I can't figure out how to remove it. I can see the heads of two Philips-headed screws on the solenoid, but I can't get them to turn. I'm having difficulty imagining that the
two screws hold the solenoid on. They seem there just to hold a cap onto one end of the solenoid. I've been searching for YouTube videos about how to remove a Scion solenoid, but I've been unable to find any such video.
Please help.

use one of these to apply sufficient torque without stripping head

NOTE: This tool can be set to tighten OR loosen. Be sure it spins in proper direction before hammering!!
