How good is the sebring exhaust ?
Just curious if sebrings are good exhausts..i know someone that is selling their's for $50. Is that a good deal,? How does the sebring perform on the XB? A friend of mine says that they are a high-end exhaust and they are meant mainly for european cars? Is that true? Any input would be greatly appreciated..

when you say ricey sound, do you mean a high or low sound?

I waited to add an exhaust on my xB until my TSW colleagues had installed a variety of exhausts from different manufacturers on theirs. First, I listened to the exhausts from the outside, then took a ride and listened to them from the inside. Then I installed the TRD axel-back sport exhaust because it meets my needs on the road, and on the freeway. I like the fact it does not kill me on the freeway like some of the others do.

Sebring
Sebring & Remus are the same company. They are based out of Austria and make a wide cariety of exhaust applications for many makes & models. In addition to their own lines, they are the OEM for AMG, Lorinser, AC Schnitzer, Ducati Motorcycles (I think), and probably other makes & models. I'm surprised that the sebring on the jetta sounded "ricey". The Jetta's I've heard with their stuff are all really quiet. It sounds almost stock at idle and when the engine is under load it has a deeper throatier type sound, but it will not resonate in the cabin at highway speeds so it sounds good from outside the car and not very noticable from inside the car. Unless it was a universal muffler... that one may sound ricey since the canisters are made for cars with a MAX of 150hp... As far as I know, they only had vehicle specific tuned applications for the xA since they sell that in Europe as the Toyota Yaris. The xB/bB isn't sold in Europe so anything they have will be a universal canister.
