Try to get one from a junker or somebody with a crashed car that isn't going to fix it. Or get on ebay and search for MAF sensors:

Thats just one example i found. DONT GO TO TOYOTA, they cost $150.00 and i know this because when i fried mine, i took it to toyota and they cost $150.00. Thank god that their head mechanic is a good friend of mine and he had one is his house and sold it to me for $40.00. I got lucky and maybe if you search well you will too.

Also on ebay i think i saw an OEM Echo intake with the MAF sensor still attached, that should also work, but if you dont want to wait for eBay shipping times, then try seeing if someone here on scionlife has one, or pay the $150.00 at Toyota.

Once again, there is NO DOUBT IN MY MIND, that you fried your MAF. If you want to make sure thats its your MAF sensor, here is a list of cars you can borrow one from:
