OOOOO, what steering wheels fit that hub? I've got a Grant wheel I'd love to mount but can't find a hub kit for the toaster.

ah . yeah that's a crazy japanese use of words , and a brand. lol you mean a steering wheel qwuick release adapter hub.

or it it quick release?

I woudn't use it. soon as you get pulled over for anything that's a big ticket. up to 30,000 fine for removing a major safety product aka airbag.

companies need to make pimp **** aftermarket air bag racing wheels.... nirvana

You're very lucky. Let us know how your car turns out after you get it back. I'm glad everything worked out. And your story definitely convinced be to go short ram over CAI.
Best of luck

I just called Toyota and they said that they have to order more parts. I guess not all of the parts they ordered came in. They don't want to give me a ETA, so I don't know how much longer.

Congratz for getting dealership to foot the bill even with you playing it straight and not swapping back to stock.

Glad to hear you're back in the saddle.

Watch out for those swimmin' holes.

Im glad to hear you got your car fixed for free, must be nice toyota wouldnt even replace a $15 part for me for free. Might consider moving out to Cali, to near this dealership, so i can get loads of free work done. No no no , free replacment of equipment just isn't worth dealing with the CARB. But keep on truckin greenguyshrek and watch out for those rivers.

I can't this week. But I am ordering the engine damper from Weapons-R, so when that comes in I will be heading up for sure.

Not to threadjack or anything, but...

What bulbs are you running in your tail lights. I have tried just about everything in the wife's smoked Helix tails and nothing seems to work well. We started with Superbright LEDs and those were no good. Then we switched to a set of the rubber "bulb condoms" and they just weren't tight enough on the bulb. Then we tried the old red bulbs that everyone used to carry. (I think they were APC.) My latest attempt was using bulb tint from Roscoe called Colorine. http://www.rosco.com/us/scenic/colorine.asp It worked about as well as the the old APC bulbs, but faded just as quickly.

Any tips?
