I first tryed useing a super bright LED, but that fried my circit board. So I then went to the red bulbs it came with, but that faded. Now I am running the bulb condoms, its working as of right now. I forgot what size I got buy they are tight on my bulb. And it looks ok not great.

 

I'm at the point now where I will either find a high temp glue and glue the bulb condom to the bulb, or just swap back to her stock tails. Maybe even stocks with a smoke overlay.

If she lets me get real brave I'll brake down the two sets of tails and build her a hybrid set.

 

I had the stock with smoked overlays and it looked good. But I liked these so much i just had to get them

Meh... those are identical to the Superbright LEDs. I've got them sitting up in a closet now because they weren't bright enough. The problem with using LED's with this particular tail light design is that LED's do not throw the light the way a conventional bulb does. LEDs are way brighter, but that doesn't make a bit of difference when you rely 100% on reflected light.
