Default I'm about to replace the clutch...

Can anyone offer any hints or what hang-ups to expect? How long it might take? I am a seasoned mechanic and have printed out the instructions.

But do I really have to remove the hood???

I've heard some guys do the clutch upgrade in like 2 hours? Really?

I'm about to do first incision on my car.

Any insight appreciated.

Thanks!

PS 150,000 mi on my original clutch! Yahoo!

all depends if you have help, the proper tools, hopefully you wont run into issues, some people do it within 2-4 hours, takes others a full day to do it,just make sure you torque everything to the exact specs, make sure you have new tranny fluid, some may remove the hood for extra room to work with, other than that, dont rush, take your time, just make sure, you let the car cool down before working on it,penetrate the bolts before taking them out,
