Just droped a K&N - Well worth the bucks

I noticed the improved throttle response and pick up...

I would recommend it for a well-worth-mod...

Which Scion do you have? Did you do the "drop in" K&N replacement filter or did you do the CAI?

I'll be adding a K&N 33-2211 this week as well. Thanks for the input.

That is great if you have the buck.

Dollar for dollar.. I got dollars only for drop in. So do a lot of Scion owners.

In autoweek a few months ago, the percentage difference is minimal between the two..

intakes run 300+ compared to 35.00 for drop in.

$75 and it's basically the Injen with a diff name on it. I don't understand why everyone doesn't go this route.

Just checked him out and he doesn't have any intakes on ebay. Who else sells these darn things?

This is what I'm trying to do. The drop in one worked fine with the stock exhaust but now that I'm adding the Strup version 2.0 I'll be needing better airflow in front. On mine I had removed the snorkel and ran ducting to infront of the drivers wheelwell where most CAIs draw air from. It worked great but want the real thing now. I may be selling the K&N shortly after I get the YDR in and running. It will be washed and re-oiled and ready to run.
