Default K&N air intake anybody has one.

I always hear about the AEM and Injen intakes but what about the K&N intake. Anybody has one on their box. I want to get one but I dont think their smog legal. Any pics would help also.

K&N Typhoon is CARB legal.
I got one and love it. here are the best pics I got right now.

Since it is buried down low it is hard to see, but you get the idea.

decrease a little when you first put it on, from liking the sound.
increase when you stop playing with the right pedal

I've had my K&N for about a year now. It's useful during passing at higher RPM. I live in Vegas, so it also works great when the air outside reaches over the 100's. The sound it makes is'nt bad either.

Two more questions.

1. How was the install?
2. Where'd you buy from? The cheapest I found is
http://www.autoanything.com/air-inta...A1915A0A0.aspx

Now, with their price match guarantee, it'd be 178.95 with free shipping.

I got mine directly from K&N, that way you get the carb sticker(if you need one that is)

it was the only place to get it when I got mine, 40K miles ago
