It is also sold as a Tornado on some site. It will help with fuel mileage, but does little in real life to help horsepower. We did test on on the dyno and it made a 1/4 lbs of boost. That is a quarter pound of boost.

Its not the same as the tornado. The tornado is just an insert that helps funnel air in a spiral motion which forces it into your intake faster. Wether they work or not, who really knows.
The turbonator is actually an electric fan that goes inline with your intake piping. You power it up and it pushes the air into the intake as a turbo would. They push ALOT of air. I sell them for fans on boats actually. You usually put ducting on them. They use them alot in race cars for fresh air systems to the drivers. The concept of them as a "turbo" sounds good, but I dont know how well they would work. I am sure that you would get some sort of increase as you arent robbing power from anywhere and you arent causing a restriction as most of them are 3" in design with just a fan inside that pushes air into the throttle body. It would give you a little I am sure.... If I didnt have the turbo, I would buy one just to check out and do a report on it....

Not trying to start an online war but you better check your facts on the "Electric Fan" It has no electric and is manufactured by the same korean company that makes the Tornado....please check it out. Here is a Quote from the Turbonator web site;

What is it?
The Turbonator is a non-moving vortex generator that goes inside your air intake hose, right after your air filter.
