I installed the AEM CAI and I am a little worried. The cone is way too low considering I live in WA state where it tends to rain a lot. Anyways, I was going to shorten the intake pipe so the cone would sit right behind the drivers headlight. Would this cause any negatives?

wouldn't be a cai anymore then it would a sri... shouldn't hurt but before you do that see if you can find the water proof cover from K&N to put over your filter... it might be a better way out than chopping up a new cai... now what i mean?
