I think you guys should make me a special intake for my turbo setup
I can fab up the prototype, I would just need you guys to finish it w/ a bigger MAF port
Sucks being here on the east coast

no . cuz the other mods change the horsepower output of adding an intake. and it's impossible to judge how much power it produces versus the other intake systems that were all tested on a completely stock car.

and i know all xB's are different but is that xB an automatic? cuz if it's an manual it must be partially ruined or have a slipping clutch . especially with "baseline" numbers that low. lower than a stock car yet it has header , intake , exhaust , and nology wires. something is TOTALLY wrong.

lets see a totally stock baseline versus just intake. it seems to be a good intake but your numbers cannot be matched against any other intake on the market because they were not tested the same way.

will this be carb approved? probably not. hopefully yes.

look forward to seeing more.

what hotbox stated is true on all the points and the typhoon was dyno'd on a stock car no other power adders 11.1lbs of trq seems a bit much from that intake.....im not knocking your quality or anything but all it is.....is a pipe with a 90' bend to tuck it behind the headlight/bumper.....its not in direct airflow and not low enough to really get outside air temps......the typhoon on the xa has good placement....i dont have the factory fogs so i removed the covers and the filter is right behind so it has a RAMAIR effect

No our intake is not just a simple tube that tucks behind the headlight.

It has a dual tube design.
which will increase airflow using laws of physics.

dude. i'm not hating your intake but i'd like to see a true baseline on a better dyno. cuz that is very very low hp numbers on a xB with all those mods .. aight take care.

Why does it have to be crap?

Thats what the car put out.. Not all xb's are the same.

And each dyn o is different.

Inertia dyno's usually put out bigger numbers.
When the rollers get going it tends to vary the numbers.
Our dyno is a hub dyno, the numbers are true.

The Dyno at Monstermotorworks is very nice and I wouldn't want you guys to judge too much, because I know that evildave has on for RandD purposes and he drives up hills all the time. He already notices a better HP gain over his Injen SR.

Monstermotorworks is here to help us, not try to mess with us. They are a trusted company here on Scionlife and are backed by PrecisionMuffler.com

they are a virtually brand new company. dont know how they've become trusted so quickly but props on that i suppose.

and on the cRap comment every weapon R product i've used , seen , or installed has been pretty much inferior. i do still want and will get the engine dampener.
