Default Need opinions on Tanabe, Injen, and Borla Exhausts

I'm looking for opinions on these exhaust systems or other systems that have a similar design (piping between the muffler and the tip). I would like to hear what others have to say about quality, sound, and performance. If anyone who owns these could post clips, that would be great. I've heard the clip on the Injen website, but I would like to hear from someone who owns it. I've never heard clips of the Tanabe or the Borla.

I had the Tanabe Hypermedallion and it was one of the quitest axlebacks out. The ONLY reason why I switched, is because I have a custom center exit. If not, I would still be running the Tanabe!

Have you thought about Strup? They make an excellent exhaust with a nice low (as in not ricey) note.

I like the idea of a quiet exhaust, but what was the tone like? Was it similar to stock or was it deeper?

I haven't really considered Strup because I don't like the designs where the muffler is attached directly to the tip. I prefer a setup with the muffler in the stock position and a short piece of tubing connecting the muffler to the tip.

Thanks for the suggestions.

It was lower and deeper. A nice thoraty sound and not the Honduh fart can sound.

I am really happy with my Borla exhaust. The tone is very deep and nice. Not ricey at all.

I am definatly happy with the Borla exhaust it sounds great with my megan header and injen sr intake.
It sounds beefy especially at 3 thousand rpm.

-KangaRod- and OrAnGeBoX, do the Borla exhausts for the xB sound similar to the one in this clip of a tC: http://www.putfile.com/media.php?n=borla2? I think this one sounds really good.
