Default New intake for NA and scoops for FI

Volant just sponsored me on their foglight intake and the smaller scoop at the 3 o'clock position. I should have them by next week. I will let you know how they mount up. The main unit looks like a pretty good piece. They are using the idea from a lot of the race guys who are enclosing their intake filter and pulling only cold air to them.

Default air

I am needing more outside air. Until we get my offset carbon scoop done this will do. Plus its free. My filter is up against the firewall below the brake booster.

So are you just using the scoop part and not the whole box?

I have been looking at getting a scoop to go where the fog lights are now. If you can get the scoop seperate, that might be my answer.

Hey Matchbox, I am also interested in the Volant Air Scoop thingy. I was wondering if you got it in and tried it out. Hit us up with some info!

Default scoop

OK I finished mounting both scoops this past morning. I will try to get some pictures posted up. I just got in the TRD rear lower brace. The UPS man is hating me. I have had something coming in every day for the past two weeks getting ready for a show .

MatchBox: First off Good Luck at the show! I do have a question regarding the scoop; Does volant provide some kind of screen material (grill) with the scoop? Or have they left it wide open, giving all the bugs full access into the filter box?
