Update: Toyota still has my car, but they did call me and tell me that the piece i told them was bad since the i first took it to them is BAD. Hmmmm. Maybe i should go get a job over there? But they are going to replace it under warranty since i already payed them to fix the problem and it didn't get fixed. Once they are done i'll take it for another spin and see if it leaks. I'll keep you all updated.

Out of curiosity Proshop, how much did they charge you for the original work? I am not telling you what to do, but if it were me I would tell them I wanted my money back for the labor. I would pay for the parts, as they did replace them. But you did tell them that you thought the oil control valve was the problem. THEY misdiagnosed the problem, not you. You shouldn't have to pay for their mistakes.

Just keep in mind what grief it could cause you at that dealership in the future. You know what modifications you have, and now so do they. Regardless of the law they can make it very difficult for you to get warranty work done.

I guess what I am trying to say is you need to weight the positives and negatives of going back to them about the original charges. It sounds like this particular dealership isn't willing to work with people with modified cars to begin with. So it might not be any sort of loss to go back after them for the original labor charges.

Dustin,
$14.95 for the crank seal
$189 for the labor

I thought about asking for my money back( my wife really did), I figured with my luck the oil control valve would end up costing more than i origanlly spent, so i didnt push the issue. While they were in replacing the seal they noticed the pulley pin had broken off and they drilled it out and replaced it and put the pulley on correct for me( i hope).

I wasnt going in expecting for anything to be replaced under warranty(i knew i messed somthing up), thats why i payed them to fix it. I just wish they would have listened to me in the first place ( since i know the car almost as well as they do)so i wouldn't be with out my car for over a week. As long as it gets fixed and there is no more oil leak, then i will live with what i payed for the repair and learn from my mistakes. As i stated above i also cancelled my extended warranty with them, since my next mod will alow pretty much no warranty coverage at all and i'll take the money i get back and hold it to pay for any other issues that arise. Thanks for your advice, i do appreciate it. Almost forgot how does the wife's system sound?

ISN'T THAT WHAT PULLEY PULLERS ARE FOR?
SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO PRY ON FRAGILE ALUMINUM PARTS.
MY 2 CENTS.
BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME.

IT LOOKS LIKE YOUR YELLING WHEN THE CAPS IS ON, the install can be done without a pulley puller VERY easily just look in the tech section.

It's the alternator that is a pain in the butt, the bottom bolt is the worst bolt i have ever had to fight with. Live and learn baby!!!

Alright hopefully this is the final update on this thread and then it dies. Just picked up the car from Toyota after it being there for a week, i ran it pretty hard for about 10 miles and there is no leak. The funny part is they called me a few hours before it was done and said "Well we got the part in but it dosent look the same as whats on yor car, you must have changed it when you upgraded your computer system in it". I said huh say what, and told them the mods i had done to it and that i had never been any where near the computer or changed the oil control valve out before. They then realized that it was the same piece just a little different looking and that during production they had run out of that piece and used a different kind on it. So any ways, problem solved, my wallet is a bit lighter, but there is no oil leak anymore( i hope). End transmission............
