Hey,
I've been doing all my work on my car for a few years now, and it certainly wasn't as easy as you guys make it sound. Thats not to say it was difficult though.
I didn't even pull the powersteering belt off, it too hard, so I just pulled the crank pully off with the belt on, then forced the belt over the PS pump and turned the crankshaft to slip the belt on.
It took me about 2 hours, but I definitely noticed a more free reving engine. I can't use the engine to slow the car down anything like I used too, and it certainly wanted to rev up quicker.
If you pull up on the belt with the top bolt off hard enough, the alternator will loosen, then once you get the belt off, it will be a bit easier to get in there.
Then loosen it (not too much, maybe a turn or so).
Don't forget to tighten it when you are finished.

I just installed mine yesterday and I encountered the alternator bolt as well. I use a 14mm short socket with a long rachet. Came right off with no problems. I have no vibration and the car feels great. Perrin Pulleys are available here at

i love it once i got it installed, i never got that damn pivot bolt on the alternator to turn i actually broke a socket trying to get it off. yes i have noticed the vibration also. the only reason i noticed it is because my billet grill is secured to one of the head lights because the tab on the headlight broke and now the grill rattles against my hood.

Hey KangaRod who did you order yours from? Did they hit you hard with fees once it hit the border. Just curious I live in Toronto.

I got a local shop to bring it in for me. I hate dealing with customs.
