Default SPFR Intake!

Just did my first aftermarket mod on my xB (or I should say Jon did it...I'm in a suit at work so he did all the wrench turning, but it seems to be about as simple as an install can be). Jon's intake is awesome! I just got done taking it for a spin....very noticable difference from stock. Consider me one more satisfied customer, I'm really happy with it!

Adrian was supposed to post some info about it when Jon got back from his vacation--I'm still waiting on that.

Is the filter an oiled one, just wondering!

I am really interested in the injen as well as the SPFR, and since it is Jon that we are talking about here, i'm leaning towards the SPFR...especially how Eric praised it!

It is an oiled filter, which I've never put into a car before, makes me a little nervous because I've heard the nightmare stories about expensive MAF replacements, but screw it. It makes a big difference in the car, and it has a real cool sound to it too. Once I get an exhause in there, it's going to be awesome!

BTW, anything special I need to know about cleaning under the hood with an oiled filter CAI? Is it safe to pressure spray it, or do I have to worry about it sucking water into the engine.

All Injen intake filters are pre-oiled and require minimal maintenance. If anyone is interested in Injen's Intake, bBist.com is running a special on all Injen products. Call me for pricing and purchasing. All Injen products are carefully researched and developed for maximum efficiency, power, and longevity. Keep in mind, the Injen name and warranty stand behind every single part from filter to hose. Plus... you get a cool Injen xB emblem with every intake!

Happy motoring,

-Steve

Jon was showing me the intake at last weeks meet. It is a VERY high quality piece. I am going to get one once I sell some of my interior lighting kits.

I am talking to Jon to see if he can drop off some parts to me so I can start selling them for him. TSW members get discounted price so I'll PM you later on Jason.
