Default Still torn on getting a lighened flywheel

I need to get a new clutch soon and I'm going with the Clutch Masters Stage I. They also have a lightened flywheel.

Some say the lightened flywheel will loose torque and will require constant rev matching. Others say it improves acceleration.

I'd like to hear from those who HAVE a lightened flywheel installed on their xA or xB. What are your experiences?

Thanks!

The best price I've seen was from JSC Speed. I ordered a Clutch Master kit from them.

Why does it work on a manual but not on an auto?

I lightened the stock one to 9lbs with a act stage 2 clutch and its whatevers. I honestly don't feel any faster accleration but it does grab like a ****. and u dont feel any torque loss, just pure grabing. I did the same thing to my civ, lightened the stock flywheel and had a stock clutch replaced and u could feel it grab more...just do stock, lots cheaper and if u break it in it wont crack, just dont go past 9lbs.

lightened is the way to go. cheap , and still has enough weight to it to be streetable.

I ordered the Clutch Master Stage 1 and I will have the shop lighten the stock flywheel. That should work nicely.
