Does anyone out there work with the xB's transmission?

Or the Echo/Yaris transmission, I think they're the same style.

My father is contemplating going turbo, I warned him that along with an ecu, conrods/pistons and some other internals he might want to look into getting his transmission built so it doesn't get burned up.


Correct me if I'm wrong but they can only handle 145-170 HP stock, and that's not a safe guesstimate. Problem is, I don't know any shops that deal with xB transmissions. Anything out there?

i think the motor will go before the tranny... i know the clutch will definitely go before anything... to my knowledge, no one really has any problems with the transmission, and the only thing you can really do to them is change out the final drive...
