TSI Extreme turbo kit???
#3
Jdaniels had one on his box. Mine is sitting in a box right now waiting to be put on so I will let you know on the fit. The quality of the parts is pretty good. I basically got it for the manifold, turbo, i/c and piping. I am running all my own fuel system. But so far, the kit isnt that bad.

you can get the info from www.turbo-kits.com You can email Jesse@turbo-kits.com with any questions and he will get back to you. As far as the price, talk to him. I am not sure what he is selling it for

I posted this in another TSI turbo kit thread, but i'll paste it here for ya'lls advantage too.
I put the ball bearing T25 TSI turbo kit on my 02 Honda Civic:

I did however upgrade a few things such as fabricating custom charge-plumbing, upgrading to a larger intercooler, upgrading to silicone couplings, and adding a manual boost controller, as well as a few other things such as an Innovat wideband Lambda ARF system.
Overall, I LOVED THE KIT! The only downside of the entire kit is the fuel system. The TSI injector block and ICU. The fuel systems is an injector block that bolts under the throttle body that when under boost, sprays extra fuel into the intake runners to compensate for the small injectors that are in such cars as civics and scions. The concept sounds perfect, but in reality is quite flawed. Other high-end kits actually once initially tuned, modify the fuel gain or cut periodically to make up for the density change in air caused by climate changes, and etc. This kit, you'll be looking at having to manually tweek ur settings every other day to stay within a certain AFR. Also, with this kit alone, its almost impossible to tune w/o instrumentation, a NO, don't trust a narrowband A/F gauge. Wideband here is the key!
So yes! Get the kit, BUT, only if you know what technically has to be done in general up-keep of a turbocharged car. The general public think that a turbo+car= Fast. But quite the contrary, w/o out proper tuning and procautionary modifications, and turbocharger is not a rewarding experience.
I however broke into the 13's in the 1/4 with my kit running 12lbs of boost tuned at a 13.4:1 AFR (tuned at 11.1:1 for daily) custom 3" turbo back exhaust, Tanabe SMR muffler, no cat, and on heavy 17" rims and directional street tires
In addition, in reference to a few comments up there/\/\.........Yes, the kit's fitment and quality is lacking. The main issue is the finish on the surface of the turbo manifold. You'll have to spend a few minutes with a power drimmle and smooth out a corner or too, and installing the manifold to the head may take a few trail and error turns (meaning fitting, then drimmling more, then re-fitting, then having to drimmle more.) The confusion with the piping is also what lead me to fabricat my own. The kit puts the BOV in an awkward position and makes adjusting the spring diaphragm a pain.
Oh, also, DO NOT BUY THIS KIT FROM www.turbo-kits.com! Sorry to have to say it and ruin it the them, but they charge way too much for the kits. You can get them for much cheaper at www.turbodiscounters.com or needboost.com
Thanx for takin the time to read my .02
