Turbonator gives up to 10 more horse!!!
ok ok ok...on da real?...does this sound like it can actually happen? a turbine in between your intake and your manifold will incrase power and increase fuel economy? any taker on this? what do you think? true or false? do you think it could work? let me know...

Same as the "Tornado" on Tv. The company got in trouble with the Federal Trade Commission for false advertising. You don't want air in a cyclone like state. You want free flowing, as much fair pumping in...if that's the phrase. 10HP...hahahah, even most/all CAI don't make that much.

soo it wont work? (i have no idea how this thing works...or the pros or cons...)
why not in a cyclone like state? what happens?

It wont work as advertise and you may actually bring harm to engine. T/C and S/C force air in like a high pressure Fire Hose pumping out water/foam , no spinny thing required because that would defeat the purpose. If your putting out a fire, you want as much water/foam through the hose and not some "concentrated" vortex or cyclone effect. Ya know the bottom tip of a tornado.

Those things were developed way back in the carb days and could actually help a little by creating turbulance that kept the air/fuel mix suspended. With port EFI (dry intake) turbulance is not necessary or wanted, smooth air flow is faster than turbulent/confused air flow. Velocity is good...

GM Vortec engines do not use intake turbulance. The Vortech head uses larger "quench" areas to promote combustion chamber turbulance which increases the amount of Air/Fuel mixture that is burned, increasing HP.
