Magnaflow is loud and deep but not ricey. You can get the muffler online and have a local shop fabricate a custom catback exhaust... mine was under $200 total.

thanks cobb.

i just ordered the strup v2 from wesellcarparts.com. they had a pretty nice deal on it.. it was about 15 dollars more expensive than another website i looked at BUT WSCP.com has free shipping.. the other site was charging almost 40 dollars.

i cant wait to get this fool on my car! haha

Yes, great service. One reason I went with them is that overall they were cheaper cause they include shipping.

Now the muffler comes in a big box and it is wrapped in bubble wrap. Plenty of bubble wrap for popping for a while.

Its easy to install, just need a 12 or 14 mm socket for the muffler clamp and wiggle it out of the muffler mounts.

Its polished and looks like its chrome plated, I wanted to paint mines flat black to make it less noticable, but I was in too much of a rush to install it. Its a dull metal color now with some shinny spots peaking out.

Get some gloves as they caution that skin oils can cause some discoloration when it warms up and to wash it before first firing.

Best of all, get ready to to release teh hidden power in that little engine and the sound of a beast.

My advice is use WD-40 to get the old exhaust off the rubber hangers. That's a PITA. I used a screw driver to pull it off.

I think if I had to do it again I'd get the strup. I've got the GReddy Evo2 and its just too quiet for my taste. Large can, but nobody knows it except me.

I used the screw driver method. I reset the ecu today. Man, way more throttle response.
