ordered along with fuel rail and intake (i really dont need an intake but perrin makes good stuff and the design looked good, and i'll be able to route utrbo plumbing to work with it)

i was tempted by rad hoses too but i need that less that the intake, maybe spearco will make them if they are gone before i order

i dont know how many they have but i was tempted to get 2 or 3 as i'm sure there will be a market for them later (and i'd have them once they are discontinued)

Ok, thanks. I maybe looking for a warm air intake, but Ithink injet is the manufacture, not perlin.

No plans to go turbo, maybe cng.

well to me its loud inside (i do not have anything insulated inside though) but my buddy rolled down the hwy with me and said its not too bad at all outside the car. love the way it tucks up nice n tight though he has an evo exhaust and hes always scrapin it.. but it is def. bigger around too.
figuer i will e~dead the rear of the box and do a little undercoating and should make a big diff.
picking up the short ram intake this fri.. woot.
i love stopping at there shop. they have a really cool showroom type of thing with a few diffrent cars in it set up to look like a shop n stuff .. one wicked lotus in there...and of course an sti..

yeah perrin does great stuff with subarus

im afraid if they are dropping some lines that they may go the way of greddy though . at least of they cut dead lines out though they'll be able to stay afloat longer, it's sad/scary though

Loud is fine, enjoy the attention and the drone in the cabin.

I have a HKS and love it, fits great and sounds great. It is loud but it's also different. Almost all exhausts are going to be loud to some extent, just find a tone you want and go for it. I've heard the Strup and it was great as well.

If you do a search on here with my name you will find some sound clips of the Perrin exhaust. If you don't want loud then you lucked out cause this sucker gets noisy, and unless you rear lip is stock the fitment is terrible.

now keep an eye on your rear lip with the STRUP because when i got mine (and most people) that have it ended up melting part of the lip. my method involved a butt cap from a folding steel chair and heavy duty zip ties from Lowes or Home Depot. no rattles no melting :-)

you'll see what im talking about with eh butt cap

I had no melting issues, but did have a hitch back there to take some heat. I since traded my xa for an 09 xb and the strup muffler is for sale, 100 bucks if anyone is interested.
