Use your common sense or the search feature to find the answer to that question.

Sounds a little odd. I think it just tricks the sensor into thinking your getting more air + running cold. That would make the engine dump a good deal more fuel in + change the timing some. I dont see it giving those type of power gains on a 1NZ-FE engine though.

Basically this item is an "adjustable resistor". Kind of like a stereo volume ****. It is the same thing (kind of) as the 20.00 "chips" you can get off ebay. Only this thing allows you to adjust the "resistance" by turning a ****. I don't think I wouldn't use it because it tells the Intake Air Temperature sensor that the air is colder than it is and thus telling the ECU to send more fuel and retard timing to compensate for the lower temp. Yes, you will feel a slight increase in power, but nothing to be too happy with. My xB always (along with a lot of my other cars) runs best when it is cool or just after start-up. This unit fools the engine into thinking it is that cool all the time It will also use more fuel. Maybe not enough fuel to notice, but it will use more. I wouldn't waste my money IMHO.
