Default Vehicle Speed Sensor question / location?

I have Searched, and poured over electrical wiring diagrams but with no luck..
Can someone tell me where the Vehicle Speed Sensor is?

Where is take it's reading from = front or back wheels? Probably a stupid question. Most cars have the sensor mounted to the back wheels. Just checking.

Basically, I have a staggered wheel set up, 215/35/18 and 225/35/18.....which wheel is sending the signal to determine vehicle speed, or is it a combination of all 4 ABS speed sensors?
Ultimately, i want to calibrate my Scan Gauge for vehicle speed correction, but don't know whether to base it off the tire size up front or in back?

The vehicle speed sensor is mounted to the top the tranny above the diff. & takes the reading from the ring gear. For speed correction, like dodgers said, use the front wheel size.

Where is the VSS located on a M/T?

I pulled the airbox and there are no sensors to be seen other than the Reverse Light Switch.

Can I get a picture or short video of where it is? Or even how to replace it?

This is an XB but I believe it's the same auto-tranny as the XA:

Logan22 - I noticed you also have an inquiry in the TC section. Which Scion model are you inquiring about?
